Water Tank Lining

We have just recently carriend out the water tank lining to the World Trade Center towers.  Here we used a PVC membrane, as manufactured by M/S Ceplastik Spain who provided us with a specially formulated drinking water membrane. 

With PVC membrane linings inside the water tank represent a permanent long term solution.  These membranes are welded together using hot air welding.  As these linings sit over the concrete surface, the water is effectively contained in a water proof pouch with no chance of escape.  There are some coatings, both epoxy and cementitious which are sometimes used, however these are brushed into the concrete, and usually leaks occur in and around the joints in the concrete.
